Lots of rationalizations by university administrators that “students will make the right choice” as the same universities compel those students to be on campus and even stay in dorms.

It’s as if leadership in America means passing the buck then punching down when things get worse. The students deserve much better than universities have to offer, and certainly more than the universities are charging.
